I have made a move
like this myself.
Not across the city — across the world, with a wife, three children, and two thousand dollars. It is the reason I take the logistics of a move as seriously as I do.
Where it starts
Bombay
I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Bombay — now known as Mumbai — a place that truly feels like it belongs in the movies. It is a city full of ambition, where people come from all over India chasing big dreams. Growing up there was exciting. Life moved fast, and the city sat at the heart of Bollywood, major corporate hubs, and cricket culture.
Along the way I met my wife, Zeba. We built a beautiful life together and were blessed with three children. Life felt full — a happy home, strong social connections, and a growing career.
Then, in the early 2000s, communal unrest in our city made me rethink everything, especially the safety and the future of my young family.
For the first time, I considered leaving the city I loved so deeply in search of something better for my children.

With a Bachelor of Commerce degree and my professional experience, I qualified as a skilled immigrant to Canada. It was not an easy decision, but it was the right one.
After a three-year immigration process, I landed in Canada in May 2004 with just $2,000 and a strong belief that I could build something meaningful for my family.
With my background in sales, I began to consider real estate as a career. Something about it felt right — like the missing piece I had been searching for. After giving it serious thought, I shared the idea with Zeba, and without hesitation she supported me. Within weeks I had enrolled in courses and started a new chapter.

I am passionate about helping families navigate one of the biggest transitions in their lives — moving into a home that truly fits their needs. Having gone through it myself, I understand how overwhelming the process can feel. It is a lot to manage.
